LuTEC High School, Norwalk, CA
LuTEC High School of Norwalk is proud to announce the successful completion of its first-year soft launch! Officially beginning in mid-2022, LuTEC put the structure, systems, and a few willing students in place to test, refine and expand its vision.
LuTEC provides a personalized high school educational experience, delivered through a robust curriculum focused on relevant technology, flexible studies, and practical knowledge to prepare any learner for a career and rewarding life in service to community. This is achieved and practiced through the foundational values and beliefs of the Christian faith.
Not only did students receive a great academic education in the core curriculum, they also experienced deep training in theology (Introduction to God’s Word) and robust life preparation in our Career, Finance, and Technology Class (CFT).
Just SOME of the things students experienced in CFT were:
Confidence with Daily Computer Use
Certification in Google Drive, Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Slides
Multicultural Education
Soft Skills
Personal Introduction-elevator speech
Confidence in presentations through multiple assignments
Writing skills: presentations, subject summaries, MLA, podcasts, press releases
Identifying subject insights/research
Positive Outlook on Future/College & Career Exploration
Financial Literacy
Budgeting, banking, work-life balance, wise use of credit, insurance
Digital citizenship
Cyber security, digital footprint and artificial intelligence
Civics in our local communities
College/University/Trade schools explorations and visits
Job/vocational research - cover letters, resumes & personal portfolio

Enable more stories of transformed lives through Jesus
Untold thousands are still in darkness, lost like “sheep that have gone astray”. But this is exactly the mission our Lord has created His Church for – reaching the lost for Jesus’ sake in as many ways as necessary. This is the purpose for which our 300 churches and 150 schools were founded in their many contexts. And “the fields are ripe for the harvest” right now!
