Prayers Needed - Southern California Wildfires

Devastating wildfires in Southern California have destroyed thousands of homes and other structures, and unfortunately there have been fatalities and injuries.
​​
Several of our PSD congregations and schools are in or near the fire areas, with many church and school families losing their homes. There has not been major property damage to our churches and schools, although Palisades Lutheran in Pacific Palisades is uninhabitable for many months.
​
Please continue to pray for the affected families and communities, and for the area churches, pastors and members who seek to serve their communities with the love of Jesus.

About Us
The Pacific Southwest District is comprised of 300 congregations and 168 Lutheran Schools in Southern California, Arizona, and Southern Nevada. It is one of 35 Districts within the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. With an office on the campus of Concordia University in Irvine, CA, the District Staff seeks to “effectively resource congregations and schools for transforming lives and making the Great Commission REAL!”
